Trust me you will find something amazing. Come on! You don't believe me? That’s OK. You don't even have to believe me, just keep on looking closely. That's right, I said closely. Can you see it now? Oh Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done! You found your first treasure; it has been paid for already you don’t need to worry about any cost.
Do you remember the shopping you did last summer? The very good bargains you managed to get hold of just before the end of the sales. Remember you did not even have time to try them on as the weather suddenly changed and it was too freezing for you to use them at all. Do you get it now? That's what I am talking about. Now is the right time to bring them out and try them on. Don't you look amazing? You look really good! Smile! You really look gorgeous. And this is just the beginning of the treasure hunt.
If you really want to find some breath-taking stuff, spend only some extra 15 minutes looking in your wardrobe and as you start mixing and matching tops with trousers or skirts or dresses, the unexpected will happen. You will discover some new ways of wearing and combining all that stuff pushed to the far end of your wardrobe since winter would not allow you to get anywhere closer before.
But now look outside, isn't the weather beautiful? And it is said that it will last for a while this year, so why not maximise it by giving a new life to your untapped treasures? Go for it and have some fun looking good, money shall no longer be an issue. As we go through the years, keep playing this same game at every passing season and you will not need to spend a fortune to be fashionable. We can all play our part, it doesn't matter how small the step we take, every effort is highly valuable. We are all interconnected in one way or the other. Our decisions to buy or throw away cloths might be seemingly insignificant in the moment but as time goes on, the non recyclable fibres used to produce those garments, make their way to landfills setting off a whole chain of pollution dangerous for our own health and the environment. Remember, it’s not about blaming anyone, but instead getting everyone to be consciously aware of the issue, and encourage each person to take an action in a simple and creative way in order to ensure a consistent and full commitment toward sustainability.
We can all make it happen no matter who we are, from consumers to manufacturers, retailers, designers, political figures, activists etc. We can all do something. It is far better to do something than nothing at all, thinking the problem is too big to be addressed. Let’s do it, together we can make the difference!
