Have Your Say: National Student Survey 2015

As a Third Year student I’m just about to start my last semester at University of Wolverhampton. One thing I’ve made sure to do is to complete the National Student Survey.

By Nicole Williams

It is extremely important that all Third Years do this, and yet, some don’t. But why? The way I see it, this is your chance to get your opinion heard on every single good and bad thing about your course. Why wouldn’t you take the opportunity?

Okay, so the changes don’t matter too much to you specifically because things don’t really get changed until the next academic year but your voice really does matter in this situation. Think about it, your opinion could entirely change the way in which your course is run in future years. Assuming of course, that the relevant people see and listen to your opinion.

The National Student Survey is run independently from the University and is anonymous. The survey does ask for your personal ID number but these are never released to the University unless they feel you are coming to any harm. They’re more for the university to know who has done it and who hasn’t.

The University of Wolverhampton offers two different incentives for you to complete the survey. The first is a prize draw you can be entered into to win a graduation package including robes, photographs and tickets for your family to see you graduate. The second is that every student that completes the survey can earn £5 worth of printing credits, which is especially useful around deadline week when everyone needs to print off hundreds of sheets of paper.

So what are you waiting for? Have your say now by clicking the link below and see if you can make a change and help to fix all those issues you've had over the years of your course.
