Spring election for the University of Wolverhampton have officially closed 3 days early until further notice.

The Spring elections which run every year to decide on who is the next Student President, Experience VP, Officer and NUS Delegate, Academic VP and more have been cancelled making all votes cast void!

The deputy Returning Office and Returning Officer have stated that “the fairness of any outcome in these elections cannot now be guaranteed”

“The Students’ Union must be a safe environment for all of our members and this relates to the events and activities we facilitate, including the elections. The reputation of the SU amongst students across the University is absolutely paramount and it is with regret that we feel this is in danger of being undermined. The SU remains committed to tolerance and fairness and the safeguarding of students.”
