Just weeks after the brand new Jaguar Land Rover site was officially opened by the Queen, their employees are bracing themselves for possible strike action over pay.

A staggering 96% of employees voted to reject Jaguar Land Rover’s latest offer of a 14% pay increase over 3 years, stating that they feel it doesn't reflect their role in making the company a worldwide brand.
The news comes as Jaguar Land Rover announced a drop in its quarterly profit, although it still stands at £609 million, with its revenue increasing.
Roger Maddison, from Unite union said “Jaguar Land Rover needs to get back around the negotiating table and hammer out a deal that meets the workforce’s expectations.”
The flagship £500 million site in Wolverhampton would be among the countries 5 sites to strike if a deal could not be reached, although with negotiations to continue it remains to be seen whether or not industrial action would come to fruition.
