Forthcoming Album from Motionless in White

Following the recent departure of drummer Brandon "Rage" Richter, Motionless in White have announced that their third studio album ‘Reincarnate’, will be released on the 16th September through Fearless Records.
The now a five piece band, have been named by music publication ‘Alt Press’, as the most anticipated music for 2014. Frontman and vocalist Chris Cerulli has promised their new stuff will be a lot heavier. Having now worked with producers Tim Sköld (Marilyn Manson) and Dan Korneff (Papa Roach, My Chemical Romance), Cerulli says they are ‘bringing back the aggression’, much to their fans delight.
Their latest album ‘Infamous’, sparked controversy in its reception due to its drastic departure from their debut album ‘Creatures’. With a style more Manson than Motionless, every song was different. “I don’t think it came across as a unified record”, says Cerulli, brushing off the experience and putting the album down to pressure and bad timing.
Despite the negativity, their success has not suffered. Having recently finished a full run of UK dates topped with South by So What? Festival in the states, Motionless in White are now preparing for three months of Warped Tour, starting on June 13th. They will play alongside Falling in Reverse and Of Mice & Men, before applying the final touches on their new album.
Putting it down to immaturity and outside influence, Cerulli disappointed fans by telling another publication, Rocksound, by sating, “I pretty much hate ‘Creatures’”. But with Fearless Records, the band has made it as far as they are going to get with their third release. So if ‘Infamous’ was their experimental stage, ‘Reincarnate’ should theoretically be their defining record.
Whatever promises they have made, the band have high expectations to live up to. Can they please their army of fans hungry for distraction at the same time as moving forward?
Either way, Motionless in White have made it clear, they don’t actually care.
