No matter how old you are, what music taste you're into, what games you play or what movie genre you love... everybody loves The Goonies!
A nostalgic film which allows us all to rekindle that love for adventure we all had as children is made possible through watching this remarkable and unique production.
83 year-old Donner, who worked with the brilliant Steven Spielberg on the original said "If you call The Goonies a comic book – we're doing a sequel."
So what's the reaction to a potential sequel being hinted, nearly 35 years after the original has been made?
Most people commenting on this story have heavily critisized film producers of having lost 'originality' in their constant attempts to remake 80's classics such as Robocop, which was released earlier this year and only got a poor 6.7 star rating on the Internet Movie Database (IMDb).
One critic said, ''keep those films in the 80's where we can remember them fondly. Are there any original films this year? Robocop, Star Wars, Superman, Batman, Goonies, cant they make original films anymore?'', Whereas another said (about The Goonies sequel) ''Another classic film which will probably be ruined by a pointless sequel''.
