Riled by the radical climax of series three, fans of Game of Thrones are eager to find out what direction the new series will take. Each trailer seems to centre on the Lannister’s feud with the North, while the remaining Baratheon battles with the Iron Islands for the spotlight. King Geoffrey believes the war is won, but the North will not forget.

With a royal wedding on the horizon sealing the fate of House Tyrell, the Lannister’s have more important things to worry about than a missing Stark girl. However it’s clear the Stark cubs are growing up as Sansa shows us a spark we didn’t know she had while Arya plans the slaughter of every one of her numerous enemies– but will she commit to the same path as her character in the books?

Fan favourite Tyrion Lannister has seen better days. Sure to leave audiences on the edge of their thrones, actor Peter Dinklage who plays the little lion says, ‘there isn’t an episode where Tyrion isn’t in trouble’. Ironically this can be put down to his own nephew, King Geoffrey. If you didn’t already know, hoards of Facebook followers will tell you - if Monday had a face it would be that of Geoffrey.

Let’s not forget the dark horse of the show. One of the two true stars, according to popular theory anyway – Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen. True to her name as the Mother of Dragons, she is well on her way to taking Westeros by storm closely followed by her three children - which happen to be dragons.

Upon being asked about her favourite line in the show, Actress Emelia Clarke who plays the Khaleesi replied ‘Definitely Dracarys!’ A word that commands her children to reign fire. A line she’ll definitely be saying plenty of in the new season. With fire and blood Daenerys plans to take what is rightfully hers; but who in Westeros doesn’t have at least one eye on the Iron Throne?
